Hopkins diagnostics services has a rich history. It was founded by Benard Odhiambo who is a radio-sonographer and also a radiation therapist and Sheillah Kelly who’s radio-sonographer as a co-founder. Its inception came as a solution to many patients more so around the western side of Nairobi majorly to patients from the informal settlement who were always forced to travel to distant government level 5 and level 6 hospitals to receive reliable and valid test results in as far as radiology services are concerned since they could not afford the same services from facilities which were a bit expensive. Opening its doors in September of 2020, the facility has grown from humble beginning to a modern high technology institution with a 3D/4D color Doppler ultrasound machine, a digital x-ray unit and a modern electrocardiogram (ECG) system. The combination of highly skilled medical specialists and modern medical technology has placed the facility in a position to undertake a wide range of routine and complex investigations and procedures like ultrasound guided biopsy, hysterosalpingography (HSG), barium studies and intravenous urography (IVU) among others.
